Birch Bay Washington "Our corner Of Paradise" during the holiday season was almost beyond description. The beautiful snow that made our white Christmas was perfectly timed. Families were together and able to take time and visit the beaches for the perfect Northwest Coast Christmas. Everything was crisp and white, the fresh air coming across the water made everything just right to build the snowman that everyone talks about, then go inside, visit and enjoy hot cocoa and season goodies.
In the Blaine /Northwest Washington area the migratory birds have arrived. For great viewing, visit Sunset Beach in Birch Bay Village, walk the Semiahmoo Spit, and cross the road to scan Drayton Harbor. If you want to stay in your car, take a drive from the Semiahmoo Resort, down the Semiahmoo Spit, around Drayton Harbor, all the way to the Blaine Marina. the beauty is beyond your wildest dreams.
If you have extra time, drive down to Birch Bay Drive cruise the entire bay from Birch Bay to Birch Bay State Park, around to Point Whitehorn. You will be glad you did!
