Blaine WA is a charming coastal city located on Drayton Harbor that has 8.7 miles of shoreline within the city limits. Blaine is less than two hours north of Seattle and 35 miles south of Vancouver, British Columbia, and approximately 20 minutes north of Bellingham WA.
Blaine WA is one of the busiest border crossings between the United States and Canada. The Cascade Mountains lie 25 miles to the east with easy access to the Mt. Baker wilderness and Mount Baker ski area. In Blaine the famous Peace Arch monument spans the US/Canadian border as a symbol of peace between the two nations.
Blaine WA has two full-service marinas that offer safe harbor to boaters going up and down the coast. Blaine WA is also home of the historic foot passenger ferry MV Plover, which offers a ride across the harbor to the world class Semiahmoo Resort. Blaine Harbor is the gateway to the beautiful San Juan and Gulf Islands.

If you want to stay in your car, take a drive from the Semiahmoo Resort, down the Semiahmoo Spit, around Drayton Harbor, all the way to the Blaine Marina. the beauty is beyond your wildest dreams.
If you have extra time, drive down to Birch Bay Drive cruise the entire bay from Birch Bay to Birch Bay State Park, around to Point Whitehorn. You will be glad you did!
